What is the best dessert for a hot summer day or night? Ice cream will definitely be at the top of the favorites list! Especially if it’s my Unicorn Ice Cream which is made with four different flavors; coconut, lemon, strawberry and vanilla. It was our favorite in the house this summer, for both adults and children. It looks super pretty and is delicious. You can ask your children to decorate it with some meringues or sprinkles.
Carrot cake cookies are a delightful twist on the classic carrot cake, packed with the same warm spices and sweet, earthy flavors. These cookies typically feature grated carrots, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, and sometimes raisins, all blended into a cookie dough that’s reminiscent of the beloved cake. My girls are crazy about their donuts, these are the same as always but this time they wanted to use those edible eyes that I have at home to transform the donuts into little monsters for Halloween. I hope you like them as much as they do.
Halloween is approaching. So I’m sending Halloween-style cookies or snacks to my girls at school, they love it and so do their friends. I have used orange, purple and green to give the colors of this date and those monstrous eyes.

The month of September and October is pumpkin month and everywhere you go you see pumpkins. Here it is very typical to make bread or chocolate cake. The truth is that it is a delight when you make desserts, because pumpkin goes very well with chocolate, with spices, with cheese frosting…
You can find this rice pudding in almost all the homes of Bengali or Indian families, it is a rice made over low heat and for a long time, so that the milk reduces with a touch of cardamom, you can add nuts or raisins to give it another touch and of course the rice that is added is basmati or even a very small aromatic rice called kalijeera (kaliyira).
This ice cream has become my husband’s favorite, every time I make it they disappear in a flash and I’m not surprised because they’re addictive. By the way, after taking the photos they disappeared, so this weekend I have to prepare more and leave them stored in the freezer in a container or one by one on transparent paper.
This week I have made these ice creams with the help of my girls, my favorite cooks, it is very easy and they are delicious. This mix of crunchy white chocolate, with the vanilla inside with the Oreo bits… makes my mouth water. You will tell me.
At home they don’t get tired of eating them, when it’s over I have to do more, and more, and more. The truth is that they can be eaten alone or dipped in chocolate, either white or with milk, everything goes great, it can be decorated with sprinkles or chocolate shavings. When we go out and we have to eat on a picnic, I also take them with me, and so everyone is happy, hehe. They are super easy to do.
