Brownie

Easy Snickers Brownies

The original Brownie is a chocolate cake with walnuts and without yeast or baking powder, the result, according to tradition, of a culinary accident: a mistake by a cook who forgot to put baking powder in the chocolate cake he was making.

But today it can be done in many ways, omit the nuts and add other ingredients such as almonds, pistachios, use more chocolates on top such as snickers, kinder Bueno, kit kat… the chocolate that we like the most.

It is ideal when you have a visit at home and not much time to cook, because it is easy to prepare, does not require much time and is delicious.

INGREDIENTS

  • 83g flour
  • 150g snickers
  • 140g unsalted butter
  • 250g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 60g dark chocolate without sugar
  • 120g dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour the butter with both chocolates and the sugar in a microwave-safe container.
  2. Melt in the microwave in intervals of 30 or 40 seconds and stir constantly so that it does not burn.
  3. Once melted and moving with a hand whisk, we incorporate the eggs one by one, until they are well integrated.
  4. Using a strainer, add the dry ingredients (flour, salt and baking powder).
  5. Mix well and carefully incorporate the new ingredients into the mixture.
  6. Use a baking pan lined with baking paper, the pan used can be 23cm x 23cm square or even 22cm or 21cm round.
  7. Pour the dough into the oven mold and put the pieces of snickers on top.
  8. Put the brownie in a preheated oven at 180C for 30 or 35 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and leave at room temperature on a rack for about 20 minutes.
  10. Unmold and let it rest on the rack until it is cold and can be eaten.
