Mashed potatoes

I’ve been making mashed potatoes for a long time, but it never hit the sweet spot. Now after trying several recipes I know which one I like the most and the exact measurements of the ingredients, take note because here is the recipe.

Mashed potatoes are a timeless and cherished side dish that embodies the simple, comforting pleasures of home-cooked comfort food. Made from boiled or steamed potatoes that are then mashed, typically with butter, milk, salt, and pepper, this dish transforms the humble spud into a creamy and fluffy delight. Mashed potatoes are a versatile accompaniment, pairing perfectly with a wide range of main courses, from roast chicken to hearty stews. Their smooth texture and buttery richness offer a perfect contrast to gravies and sauces. Whether served as a creamy bed for saucy dishes or shaped into inviting mounds with a well in the center for a pool of gravy, mashed potatoes are a timeless classic that evokes feelings of warmth and nostalgia, making them a staple at holiday feasts and everyday meals alike.
