Mongolian beef

Mongolian beef

The other day I had some beef patties and I didn’t know how to eat them, I also had some fried rice so I started looking for recipes and found this one. With rice it is ideal. The recipe calls for chives, but I didn’t have any at home, so the original recipe if you try it is even better.

Mongolian beef is a savory and sumptuous dish that hails from Chinese-American cuisine. Thin strips of tender beef are typically marinated in a flavorful blend of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar, infusing them with a delightful combination of salty and sweet notes. The beef is then stir-fried to perfection, creating a delectable caramelized exterior while preserving its juicy tenderness. What sets Mongolian beef apart is its generous portion of scallions, which add a refreshing, oniony crunch and a hint of freshness to every bite. Served piping hot and often garnished with sesame seeds, this dish is a delightful fusion of flavors and textures that is sure to satisfy both your taste buds and your cravings for a hearty, Asian-inspired meal.
