Pasta Salad

My Favorite Pasta Salad

There are as many pasta salads as you want, as the name suggests pasta is the main ingredient, but you can even choose different pastas to make it. Among the ingredients you can add as many as you want, or have at home at that time. Different fruits, nuts, cheeses, vegetables…And the same happens  for the dressings. To give it a special touch I make it with fried garlic, but I’ve seen it from mustard vinaigrette, mayonnaise, and berries vinaigrette etc.

This salad is a mix between the one I ate at home with apple, tuna and corn among other ingredients and the garlic vinaigrette that I learnt from my friend when I went to his house one day, and I think nuts and cheese go with it very well.

Anyway, I hope you like this version, which is the one I repeat the most lately, although if I don’t have an ingredient I omit it or replace it  without much problem.

Here are step by step direction!

INGREDIENTS

  • 150G cooked pasta
  • 12 or 15 grapes
  • 5 cheese wedges or 75-80g
  • 60g corn
  • 1 apple
  • 50g nuts
  • 2 cans of tuna (160g)
  • 3 garlic cloves

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook the pasta, drain and let cool.
  2. Cut all the ingredients into small squares.
  3. Mix all the ingredients.
  4. In a little oil fry the garlic cloves and use that oil and those garlic for vinaigrette.
  5. Pour the oil with the hot garlic to the salad, add salt and vinegar to taste.
  6. Move to mix the ingredients well with the dressing and enjoy.
