Let’s make my chickpea salad that will please the whole family, shall we?
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can of cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 purple onion
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 tomatoes or about 15 cherry tomatoes
- 1 mango
- 1/2 lemon or lime
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 chopped chili (optional)
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- olive oil
- vinegar to taste (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Sauté the chickpeas with salt and the chili powder.
- Let cool in a large bowl.
- All the ingredients are cut to taste and added to the chickpeas (mango, tomato, cucumber, onion)
- Now the spices are added: cumin, garam masala, minced chili, minced ginger, lemon, oil and a little salt and vinegar to taste.
- You can decorate with coriander mix as well and… eat!
