  • Ingredients for the sauce:
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
    • ¼ cup ketchup
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 2 tsp garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp cornmeal
    • 1 tbsp water
  • Ingredients:
    • 750g chicken
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ⅓ cup cornmeal
    • 1 egg
    • 1 onion
    • oil for frying
    • ½ yellow bell pepper
    • 1 red bell pepper
    • 1 green pepper
    • 1 cup pineapple in syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. First we are going to make the sauce, mixing all the ingredients named above (except the cornmeal and water), mix well and reserve.
  2. Mix the water and cornmeal and also set aside.
  3. Cut the chicken into squares of 2.5cm more or less, put it in a bowl.
  4. In the chicken bowl, add the salt, cornmeal and mix, pass through the egg and fry in a large amount of oil. In order not to put the meat in so much oil, I add the egg to the chicken with the flour and fry it in a little oil until it is golden. Now reserved.
